Pioneer Day at the Farm – Clark Historic Farm
Step back in time and learn about the local pioneer legacy. Saturday (July 22nd) join us for some good old-fashioned Pioneer fun. There is a rich heritage in Grantsville–let’s celebrate it.
Here’s what is happening:
4:00 p.m. Bring your kids to the Grantsville Fire Station with their bikes, scooters, or wagons. There will be some decorations available to decorate their “pioneer rides”.
4:30 p.m. Children’s parade from the Fire Station, north down Center St. to Clark St., and then west down Clark St. to Clark Historic Farm.
5:00-6:00 p.m. Pioneer games at Clark Farm for the whole family.
4:00-6:00 p.m. Tour the Donner-Reed Museum, DUP museum, or a quilt display sponsored by the Tooele Quilters Guild.
6:00 p.m. Bring a picnic for your family, a picnic blanket or chairs, and socialize. Or you can test your skills in some fun contests such as a pie-eating contest or apple dunking.
7:00 p.m. Local talent performing cowboy poetry and the toe-tapping sounds of the harmonica.
