Waterfowl
Ducks
Timpie, Horseshoe, Blue Lake, Fitzgerald and Fish Springs National Wildlife Refuge (Juab County) are the best locations. Species: Mallards, Pintails, Wigeons, Gadwalls, Teals, Shovelers, Ring-Necked, Scaup, Canvas Back, Red Heads, and Common Snipe.
Geese
Canadian Geese at Timpie, Horseshoe, Blue Lake, Fitzgerald and Fish Springs National Wildlife Refuge (Juab County).
Upland Game
Rio Grande Turkeys
Available on the Oquirrh, Stansbury, Sheeprock, Simpson, and Deep Creek Mountains.
Chukars
Found on all mountain ranges countywide. Requires Upland Game permit.
Pheasant
Mostly found in Tooele and Rush Valley areas, primarily on private land. Other opportunities are available at commercial hunting areas.
Quail
Available on Carr Fork Wildlife Management Area and Deep Creek Mountains.
Forest Grouse
Available in most alpine areas in the Oquirrh, Stansbury, Sheeprock, and Deep Creeks Mountains.

Except otherwise posted, hunting is prohibited in military operation areas and Indian reservations in Skull Valley and Ibapah. All croplands are considered no-trespassing areas unless permission is granted from the landowner.
