Frosty’s Downtown Quest and Outdoor Market
Frosty is coming to town and bringing some exciting events for Small Business Saturday. In conjunction with the Tooele County Chamber of Commerce and Tooele City, we bring an exciting element to this year’s Santa Parade. The market will be at 85 N Main Street in the parking lot to the north side, outside, so bring your propane heaters. Set up will be at noon, with the market from 1 to 5. The cost is $25 for a 12 x 12 booth paid to the Tooele Downtown Alliance via Venmo, cash, or check. They will provide that information once you are approved for the event. You will need to apply here (https://docs.google.com/…/1FAIpQLSc3nLLPzWR…/viewform…), our board will review the entries and vote to approve them for the event. You will then receive communication from our director on the event. The Tooele Downtown Alliance is a registered non-profit 501(c)(3), and your booth fee is tax deductible.
Frosty’s Downtown Quest is an exciting event where the community will be given a map to go looking for Frosty in your location. This is FREE for businesses to participate, and you will be promoted by all parties involved with this event. You will design and decorate a Frosty yourself for them to come find at your location. They will also include your Small Business Saturday promotions on the map. They want the community to come to see you while they are downtown for all the festivities, so have fun with this. Once they find Frosty in your location, they will receive a stamp. If they complete the map and get it turned in, they will be entered to win $500 in groceries and more. You must email director@downtowntooele.com with your store’s promotion and that you want to enter the quest.
This event is partnered with the Tooele County Chamber of Commerce. The Santa parade will begin at 2 p.m. and end at Veterans Park around 3 p.m. Santa will walk down to the Ritz theatre, where Tooele City Arts Council will have Santa from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Then, Santa will light the trees at Veterans Park at 530 p.m., and the quest winners will be announced.
