Library Pioneer Memorial

In October 2000, a monument was dedicated to celebrate and honor the brave men, women, and children who made the treacherous journey across the plains and settled in Tooele before 1869. This monument stands as a tribute to their remarkable courage and perseverance, and features the names of over 800 original pioneers who helped to shape the region’s history. Visiting this monument is a moving and meaningful experience for anyone interested in the history of Tooele and the early pioneers who played such an important role in the region’s development.
