Settlement Canyon Campground

Location: Approximately one mile inside Settlement Canyon and three miles from downtown Tooele City. RV accessible.

 

Elevation: 5,500 feet.

 

Season: April 30 to Oct. 31 (weather permitting)

 

Facilities: One group campsite (100-person capacity) with an amphitheater and vault toilets. No water. Volleyball pit. Also, 8 individual campsites with tables and fire rings. 12- RV sites with full hookups (electricity, water, and sewer).

Availability: Check-in and check-out is 10 a.m. Access is closed from 7 p.m. to 8 a.m. on weekends and 9 a.m. on weekdays. Maximum stay 7 days.

 

Fee: Campsites $20 per day. RV sites are $40 per day for full hookups and $30 per day for electric only. 

Group campsite $125 per day for residents with a $100 refundable cleaning deposit; $150 per day for nonresidents with a $100 refundable cleaning deposit.

 

Restrictions: No firearms. Only street-legal ATVs are allowed. Dogs must be leashed in camp and picnic areas. Fires in rings only and bring your own firewood.

 

How to get there: From Tooele City Hall, proceed south on Main Street (SR-36) for 2.2 miles to Settlement Canyon Road. Turn left and continue one-half mile to the entrance gate. Stop and see the gate attendant before proceeding. The campground is less than one mile after the entrance gate.
